Pure Joy Story

From Pure Joy Photography to Pure Joy Co., I have loved every second of creating and growing my small business! I created Pure Joy Photography during the summer of 2020, in the midst of a pandemic, the Lord pressed on my heart a passion to act on my creative passion for photography. Two years later it has morphed into a new adventure, offering photography, handmade gifts, paintings, and encouragement. My hope is to serve God and expand his kingdom using the spiritual gifts he has given me. I pray for this ever-growing journey and for all the amazing people I have and will serve along the way!

My Experience

I have had the privilege to shoot many events and different people. Whether a large or small group, individual or couple, I am familiar and comfortable. And, whether you are looking for an urban setting or a beautiful field, I have done it all! I love to experiment with all types of settings and shoots!

As for the gifts, paintings, and handmade items, I’ve always enjoyed painting and crafting! What once was a fun thing to do for myself, eventually became something else God encouraged me to use for his glory, and share with other people! I am so excited to expand this passion of mine and grow along the way! I hope you enjoy my work, and that I can create something special for you eventually!

I am experienced with many locations and photography styles. The style may differ from client to client as every shoot is different and unique, but my commitment to quality and craft is unwavering. With that being said, I most often to stick to a bright style of editing to create an airy and timeless feel.

My artistic style is unique and personal! I try to perfect every piece and make it special for every person. I hope to pour my love for creativity and Jesus into every piece, and to create a story for each one. God has blessed me in many ways and I hope to do the same for everyone I cross paths with through this season of life and small business!

Session Photography

After choosing a shoot location, we will chat about what type of session you would like to do, and who all will be participating. Each session is different and every client has a different style, so it's best to figure out exactly what you want your photos to look like before anything else. This is great because it also allows me to get to know each of you and understand and adapt to your originality! Next we will determine a date and time that works best for everyone, and a final price will be determined! Booking a session is one of my favorite parts of the shoot, because it allows me to learn so much about each client, and it is so exciting to plan a new piece!
